If you want to be happy, you have to be happy on purpose.
When you wake up, you can’t just wait to see what kind of day you will have. You have to decide what kind of day you will have.
This morning was tough getting up. I didn’t want to get out for a power walk. I wanted to curl up with the fresh breeze coming through our windows and sleep through my workout. But I had to choose the mental focus of self-care, self-love and fitness. It doesn’t naturally happen for any of us. We all have to choose it if we want it.
Every day get up and choose to be happy (life is too short) and choose to stay on the path YOU want to be on. You will never be able to find true happiness by living to please others or living by others expectations of you.
